Take time to show your kids that there is a lot to life by teaching them simple skills like riding a bike , playing a game, an instrument or just fostering relationships. Listen to what the kids are saying. They have a lot to say and are probably never going to stop talking but you’ll pick up a few sensible things. Undertake projects with them such as making scrap books . Having a book that highlights what they hold dear will help you understand them better.
Their interactions with others should be encouraged. Kids have this inborn habit of imitating your actions. They will be at ease to introduce their friends if they see you doing the same. It is always very pleasing to the child if you show interest in their friends. If they feel that they can talk to you this behavior will go on to adulthood. Allow for failure and have them take responsibility for their actions from a young age.
